Maui Concerts - Doobie Brothers and War

The Maui music scene was once again rocking when the Doobie Brothers and the band War came in concert to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on April 1, 2011. The Maui concert with the Doobie Brothers also brought along a few of their friends to share in the fun. Michael McDonald, Mick Fleetwood and Willie Nelson joined the band onstage for a few songs and got the packed group of Maui music fans on their feet singing along.

The Doobie Brothers auctioned off a signed guitar along with lots of perks to a lucky bidder who generously paid $16,000 for the package. The lucky winner got to join the Doobie Brothers on stage (see above) for the final song!
The new Yokouchi Pavilion at the MACC provides a great stage with an intimate feeling for any show! I always love the light shows.

What a great group of talent!
